Foundation Friends

The girls of the Foundation High School have been invited to join an afternoon activity headed by the Speech and Language department. Activities are designed to foster pragmatic skills and the development of young women. This group meets monthly to facilitate personal expression, the creation of bonds, and friendships amongst the girls. Some of the topics have included: recognizing and becoming “real friends”, “sticking together” to help one another, “lifting each other up” while learning to support and understand individual needs. This group offers the girls the opportunity and environment to  grow in their perception of others while also building upon their own level of confidence.
